This is a timeline of events for the great debate community.

1953:

• Birth of Kent Hovind

1954:

• Birth of Heavy Hauler

1970:

• Birth of Steve McRae

1978:

• Birth of JD Kain

2002:

• Birth of Callzter

• Kent Hovind is sent to prison for 10 years due to tax evasion.

2007:

• The great debate community emerges from the chaos of Young Earth Creationists and Evolutionists, however it is not named the "GDC" at least until 2014 and the Google Plus community isn't created until 2016.

2014:

• The community of the people on the internet who debate Theology, Philosophy and the age of the earth is unofficially named the Great Debate Community.

2015:

• The shape of the earth becomes a topic of discussion for the Great Debate Community which was still very nebulous at the time.

2016:

• The GDC google+ community is created by Steve McRae.
