Keane is a near legendary figure in the YouTube atheist community. He had his start on YouTube back in 2006 with one of the first popular atheist channels, where he prank called various Christian churches. He's since flip-flopped several times between being an atheist and a Christian (or "God-believer"), depending on who he's trying to scam at the time. He has a long history of basically being a complete and utter sociopathic scumbag with no care at all for anyone other than himself, and people who he can use to further his own ends. Brett's Encyclopedia Dramatica article has a lot of information about his history on the internet. Brett has used basically every dirty trick in the book to attack his enemies, including false flagging campaigns, mass down-vote campaigns using hundreds of sock puppet accounts, filing false DMCAs, doxxing and making false accusations, character assassination, turning on people's cameras in hangouts...you get the idea. Brett Keane has been a favored lol-cow of the Drunken Peasants Podcast since early 2014. His entry on the DP wiki contains much more detailed information about his long history (including a list of his YouTube channels) than either this or the ED wiki entries.
